Fall 2011 Market Introductions:
NEW NICHOLS & STONE BEDROOM GROUPS MAKE THEIR DEBUT
Nichols & Stone debuts a new and extensive bedroom line, featuring three multi-component collections in diverse styles. Lovers of traditional classics will appreciate the plain-spokenness of the solid cherry Wayside Inn pieces. A distinctively Asian vibe prevails among the Pacific Winds maple furnishings. Urban chic is the theme for the new Park Lane bedroom group, with American walnut veneers on prominent display. Each bedroom group consists of a tall chest, a dresser, a master dresser, a mirror, and two styles of nightstand. Additional enhancements to the Wayside Inn group are a blanket chest and a media dresser. Both a thistle poster bed and a classic sleigh bed round out the Wayside Inn case goods. Pacific Winds features a bed with an unusual and intricate headboard motif. The sophisticated Park Lane collection offers a stylish upholstered bed, a beautiful walnut veneer bed, and a sleek, wave-like sleigh bed. The Park Lane beds may be fitted with wall panels that connect them to flanking night stands. All beds come in queen or king sizes.
Also new this Market are two occasional table groups: The American Classics collection offers five maple tables with Shaker-style origins distinguished by tapered legs and overhanging tops. The charming Canterbury tripod chairside table also is available as a custom version with tiger maple top and legs and a cherry column. The Old Forge table collection features rustic, hand-planed maple tops resting on antiqued metal bases. These cocktail, end and sofa tables nicely complement Nichols & Stone’s upholstery line. The eclectic Departures Collection of occasional pieces now includes an adjustable stool in bar and counter heights and a round pedestal cherry accent table with starburst-patterned top.
